Well it has been a crazy but productive month for us here at Wolfe! We have spent the last four weeks traveling around to different events, meeting with customers, prospective customers, partners and getting the word out about our fabulous, super fast Ethernet services.
Our first stop was Long Beach, California where we exhibited at the Apartment Owners Association’s Million Dollar Trade Show. We had the opportunity to talk with many multi-dwelling operators and owners about Wolfe Residential Connect. There is a real need in Southern California for reliable, fast internet service and they were thrilled to hear they could offer their residents an alternative to the “Big Guy” provider they are currently using and at no cost to the owner/operator. Residents want bigger bandwidth to stream video, play games online or work from home with a reliable connection. Our 100 Mb/s WolfeNet Connect or our 1 Gb/s WolfeNet Extreme Services are great options to meet those big bandwidth needs.
Week two we headed back to Los Angeles for an evening event high atop City Club overlooking downtown LA. What a great night to network with the CIOs and VPs of some of the top companies in the country. We are looking forward to working with these companies over the next few months to build an Ethernet solution for their business.
Next we flew to Las Vegas for Interop, an event designed to empower information technology professionals to make smart business decisions. The three-day event included educational sessions, networking opportunities and an expo featuring the latest in technology solutions. Wolfe was there exhibiting and featured our Ethernet Transport Service, Metro E, VPLS, IPVPN and Wolfe Business Internet services. Over 12,000 people were in attendance and many stopped by our booth to learn about Wolfe. A big congrats to Robin Won who won the iPad mini we gave away at the expo.
Back to Seattle for a quick stop home and then on a plane a day and a half later headed for our final stop in Chicago for ITW (International Telecom Week). ITW is aimed at the global wholesale telecommunications community where attendees from across the globe meet to buy and sell both voice and data products and services. Once again Wolfe had a booth at the show and had the opportunity to interact with many companies in the industry. We made great connections and have some business in the works with several of the people we met there. It was fascinating to see what other companies around the world are developing and we are excited to expand our footprint with the help of these great companies. Dan Lunde from 1025 Connect was the big winner of the iPad Mini drawing.
Phew! It has been a busy but amazing month for us and as a result Wolfe will continue to grow and develop. We really enjoyed meeting everyone in each of our stops and look forward to continuing our conversations. We have a few weeks back in the office putting these conversations into action and then we are off again. Next up, we are off to San Diego June 19-22 for the NAA (National Apartment Association) Education Conference and Exposition and then the following week to New York City for Telecom Exchange on June 26th. We hope to see you there!
